Text Overlay Notifs without Speaker Avatars

I want to have Overlay corner text notifications, without having the speaker avatars of who's currently talking.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get one without the other.

The only options for speakers are Large/Small avatars, Display Names (Always, Only while Speaking, Never -- and this one still shows the avatar even if no name).

Display Users doesn't have an Off selection, just Always or Only While Speaking.

Whereas the text overlay notifications does have a Ø way to turn them off... but they're the only thing I want to stay on.

I often miss the audio beep for a new message, so I find the corner notifications very useful... But I don't want an obnoxious speaker-avatar overlay interfering with in-game UI, I learn people's voices and don't need more HUD clutter.

I wish Discord would separate those two features more. Currently it's not fully customizeable to select which of these features I want to use.
