Suggestion for accounts justice that really should be considered
|
I have two accounts that I put them on random email and password bc I couldn’t bare waiting for 30 to delete the accs when I was young. The accounts haven’t been accessed since then nor verified for years isn’t that an enough reason to return them to the original email or simply delete them bc they’re considered fake now? What if the person had so much personal info in their acc and wouldn’t be able to do anything about them anymore bc of discord’s policy?I’ve contacted discord support several times and provided them with evidences that I owned those accounts before, they didn’t give me any satisfying reply.
They can simply search in my accounts file logs and prove that the last time they’ve been accessed is when they were under my emails… if the account isn’t verified with its email for years, isn’t it better to delete them for more privacy safety bc the accounts now r on the same level with some random fake accs that r often used for scam, etc… I can’t find any good reason why the accs shouldn’t be deleted or returned back to the original email address.
If it really can’t be helped.. I suggest that when someone changes their Email the email wouldn’t be fully changed until it’s verified from the new Email and if it’s not verified for a while, at least 6 months then the email will be automatically turned back to the previous one or the account will be automatically deleted with a warning. So that the issue of random passwords and emails won’t happen again.. bc it’s like turning ur acc into a fake one and discord surely don’t want that
