The new profile options feel insulting

I've been paying $50 a year for the basic Nitro for 4 years now and it feels like with every big update there's always a push to get people to pay double for the new $100 plan.

I usually didn't care before because it was mostly just stuff to help support servers and what not but now with the new profile options which are just a basic quality of life improvement that's been needed for a long time. The banner option has been pay-walled and not even just to the basic version but to the new plan that costs double.

Locking a basic feature like this behind a paywall is insulting and horribly offensive to the users that have been waiting for something like this to show up.
This is something that should be free and making people pay for it at all just causes me to worry about the future of the platform.

    I have been paying for Nitro Classic since this december. This just feel so annoying. The "non-nitro users" got FREE Discord Nitro for 3 months and then they have access to all the new profile stuff.


    Dude, we pay for nitro, and users who did not support even a penny of their wallets have full access to all this new stuff.

     

    Discord, you should at least give Nitro Classic users access to the new profile options.

    I would like to extend the issue: this whole Nitro update is insulting. My problem is 4000-character limit. So, Discord firstly introduced 2000-character limit "for the convenience", but now it's just another way to suck money.

    I've had Nitro Classic since 2018(?) - and I wholeheartedly agree. I can live without the other 9.99 Nitro features because they can possibly provide benefits to all members of a server... but for my own personal benefit you can't include us in the Profile Banner ability?
