Purple status icon shouldn't show if twitch connection isn't displayed on profile
Even if I turn off the option to display my twitch account on my discord profile, it'll still tell everyone when I'm streaming on twitch.
- I want to keep my twitch account connected to discord, so I get the subscriber benefits from my twitch subscriptions
- I want to make use of streamer mode while streaming
- I don't want everyone to know my twitch account
- I don't want everyone to know when I'm streaming
This seems like an oversight - if I hide my twitch account, clearly I don't want to show people when I'm streaming. At the moment I think the only other options are to disconnect twitch from my discord account entirely, or close discord while streaming, and I'm not sure how twitch integration works, so that second option might not even work.

Yeah, it should work like the Spotify presence.
You can try disabling your activity status (in the activity settings) when you're streaming and enabling it again once you're done.

I do have that disabled.
It's worth noting the only reason I know this happens is because people told me that it appeared as my status. I didn't notice my status being purple while I was streaming (though I wasn't really looking at discord to be fair).
