Deny/allow DMs to other server members based on role

Please for the love of all that is good, let server owners deny/allow DMs to other server members based on role.

Yes I know, users can control whom they receive DMs from personally, but in practice they don't. This is a huge problem, it has persisted for years, it's getting worse, and this feature has been requested many, many times.

Please give us the tools we need to combat this problem and keep our members safe.

    I agree on the idea, might help a lot in servers with a system of "Verified" roles.
    I advise that you inform your users about Scam bots and configure the permissions on the roles. You need to either have to be an Administrator or have the "Manage Server" permission to add bots. If they are a recurring problem, just give those powers only to the people you trust!

    Clarification: When I say scam bots, I mean these are bot accounts, not actual bots. As far as the server is concerned they are regular users.

    Omg this is just what is needed. It will fix EVERYTHING. Im so damn tired about these spambots spamming and scamming my members...
