Offline member list (1k+ servers) - Toggle display

As some of you might know, and as I found out recently, once your server reaches 1000 members, the offline members are automatically hidden with no way of toggling it back OR bringing it back through member pruning.
I do understand the purpose but I believe it causes certain issues for the private channels on those servers.
I would like to suggest the following: Hiding the offline members ONLY in channels where the user count exceeds 1000 (or an option to toggle that).
That way, in the private channels (like moderation channels or ones for a specific subset of users/roles), it would be much more practical.
I believe such a change would be welcomed by many of us who make daily use of discord and who can use the offline display for easier accessibility (to either know who has access to a channel without going in Settings or to message them directly, etc.)
