Friends in Messages Selection Show Without Status When Offline

A new change that I noticed once I woke up this morning is that any friends you have added that are offline now show without any sort of status. This makes it look like everyone who is offline unfriended me, but then I check my friends list and see that everyone is still there, which can be really nerve-wracking. I really don't think this is a good change and it should be reversed.

    It also makes it harder to tell at first glance which chats are DMs and which are group chats. It feels like it makes switching through chats unecessarily slower and prone to error.

    is it a change on purpose though? im not entirely sure it's a legitimate change

    It might be an attempt to make the chat list appear more minimalistic but doing so this way makes it less practical.

    I literally hate the new update- I want the offline status back 😭😭
