Better channel mention

Hi,
I have a server setup where a lot of channel names are repeated under different sections, for example: 3 sections (Year 1, Year 2, Year 3,) and every has channels (general, notes, class1, class2, class3) (it's the simple scenario)
Currently if I start mention I get 'help' list that is sorted alphabetically by channel names, I need to type in part of the channel name I want to mention. I belive it would be better if there were channels from current section at the top of list, because while in my scenario it's pretty easy there's a lot of servers that aren't that user-friendly and use characters that need to be copied in channels names.
Also if there's situation when there's over 10 sections with similar channels (can happen if discord is used as online learning method for schools), then it can be impossible to mention some of them, so maybe add possibility of specifying section channel combo. Maybe something like #section/channel   where section/ would be optional.
It would be also helpful if we could set unique identifiers/shortnames for sections or if they would be automaticly added.
