Clearing Cache on Mobile
In many applications, TikTok being an example of one of them, there is a feature to clear the cache created by the app. This is useful to many because it helps clear up storage.
On my iPhone, Discord was taking up almost 3GB of space. I dug around in the settings menu, trying to find a "clear cache" button, but it was nowhere to be found.
Finally, I deleted and re-installed Discord, and sure enough, all the cache went away. My app size went from almost 3GB to about 300MB. That's a large amount of cached files, and for devices with smaller storage sizes, that means a lot. To not be able to clear this easily is really a let-down, and the feature really needs to be added.
When I did some digging, I was able to find that Discord used to have this option, but it was taken away. I couldn't find an explanation, but it needs to make a comeback.
All in all, clearing cache should be a feature anywhere you can get Discord, especially mobile.

Just reinstall the app it works the same way

yes, you could do that, but it's a hassle. i'd rather be able to click a clear cache button and have my cache cleared.
