Feature request: keyboard shortcut to start thread to make support channels more organized

I'm active in a fair number of help channels for various communities (programming, frameworks, etc.).

These channels can get cluttered quite quickly with multiple people asking questions at the same time.

Threads are a good solution to this, keeping a conversation, well, threaded. But, they are infrequently used.

I think this is because it requires the mouse to create a thread, so it's a lot more energy than just starting to type.

There should be a keyboard shortcut to selecting a previous chat message, and then creating a thread. I also think thread's should not be required to be named.

I think the correct key is up arrow. Then, to start a thread, there could be another shortcut, "Tab", to create the thread.

This would enable a user to start a new thread with 2 keystrokes, never touching the mouse, which is significantly easier. This would ultimately allow channels to stay significantly more organized.

In summary, the requested features as follows:

1. Threads don't require a name.

2. Modify "up arrow" shortcut to navigate up/down through previous channel messages from any user, rather than just selecting my last message (current behavior).

3. When a message is selected, pressing "Tab" opens a thread for that message and puts the users cursor in active position to respond in the thread. 

This allows the follow user experience:

1. User sees a question they want to respond to.

2. They press "Up arrow" to navigate to it. If it's the last message, it's a single button press.

3. They press "Tab" to open up a thread from that message.

4. They immediately can start typing a reply to that message. (No naming required.)
