Handle messages before they’re sent
The title is pretty self-explanatory. For moderation bots it would help a ton if they could check messages before they’re sent to choose whether they should be sent or not instead of letting them be sent, allowing users to see them for a short time anyway or be pinged if it’s a spam bot account, etc. It would make it a lot easier for moderation bots to moderate instead of even giving accounts a small window to be hateful

What happens if there are multiple bots viewing these messages- which bot gets to approve them? What if a rouge/poorly programmed bot decides to stop all messages from being sent on all servers it’s in?
It’s a good idea but it has a lot of flaws… Best thing would be Discord provided native automod.0 -
Exactly. A bot could be bugged or overloaded or natively slow. If it takes 2 seconds for a bot to check the message it is already too much
