Whenever I get a ping/mention (@), there is an extra ghost notification on the red notification badge on iOS.

I have a very annoying glitch where whenever I get pinged/mentioned, there will be an extra ghost notification on top of what I already have, like for example, when I have 1 ping/mention, the red notification badge on the iOS app reads 2, if I have 2 pings/mentions, it reads 3, and so on. If I enter and exit the app without marking the pings/mentions as read, then it will go away. And sometimes, the iOS app’s red badge reads 1, and if I enter the app, I have no pings or mentions. It again goes away once I exit.

I have reinstalled the app and it does not work. I believe it started after a ping one day that was just like any other ping (but I can’t remember much of it). I have posted this on Reddit but nobody seemed to take notice of it. I cannot seem to find this exact issue on the internet. I am on the latest version of Discord (109.0) and I’m on a 2017 iPad Pro running iPadOS 14.6. I will be very happy once it gets fixed.
