Option to mute server until certain amount of text has been added

As a discord user who is a member of several server,

I want the option to mute a server until a given amount of new content has been posted there,

So that I won't be distracted by notifications for every single new post, while still being notified when a significant amount of new content has accumulated.

  Oh, I propose that images, links, videos etc count as a fixed number of character, for example 10. And that the notification-mute works for thresholds of, for example 300, 600, or 1000 characters worth of new content.

  For moderators it might make sense to have some sort of activity threshold - rather than a fixed amount of text the alert gets triggered by a certain activity density (number of people participating in a time window). That way one person posting something every once in a while does not trigger the alert while a conversation does.
