Voice channel notifications on mobile

Is it only me or wouldn't it be nice if one could set notifications on a voice channel to notify the user on their mobile device when a voice channel on a server gets populated (goes from 0 to 1 users) or a notification whenever someone joins (very much at own risk). I'd like this feature a lot since me and my friends often hangout in discord but I'm not always by my PC. 

This could be added as desktop notification as well. For instance, on windows there could be a notification like "Channel [channelname] on server [servername] is now active, join the conversation now". And if i click on it, I'll join the channel.

Another use-case, my university uses discord servers for communications between students and mentors in some courses. Just getting that little notifications when someone is online in a channel studying would be awfully helpful for those who don't have an established study group, which is a growing number of students since covid-19.
