Discord for Mobile Linux
Mobile Linux is lacking mostly in one area in particular: application support. A mobile discord client would much help with that. Packaging as a flatpak would be ideal, as there are several mobile distros with different bases. One distro in particular (Mobian) is debian-based, and has a Developer's Guide that may or may not be helpful: https://gitlab.com/mobian1/wiki/-/wikis/Developer's-Guide The current mobile GUI for Android and iOS is great, and it would probably be better to use that UI, than modify the current desktop UI.
However, I am not a developer and do not know all that much about what this would entail. If using the mobile UI from the current discord mobile is to difficult, I simply ask for a the current desktop discord to have collapsible side menus, and packaged in a way that is useable on aarch64/arm64.
Thank you to the team at Discord and all that you do, I would appreciate you consideration of this idea.

why not as a flatpak just with aarch64 support?

That would be incredibly cool! The only way of properly using Discord on Linux mobile is to use the website which isn't ideal or to run an android emulator which is really bad for battery life.
I would apriciate a mobile discord client for Linux a lot! (Preferably packaged as an ARM 64bit flatpak so it works on all systems)

This would be amazing, please package discord for Linux arm with a touch friendly UI! My pine phone pro just arrived and I would love to have all the messaging apps my friends use running on it.

I do not have a Linux phone yet but as someone eagerly watching their bank account and nervously anticipating the stock at pine64, I'm definitely agreeing that this is something that would be appreciated. It would probably be something that Discord would prefer as well since if there is not something that can be easily used people will probably start looking at unauthorized alternatives. Surely an official client would be preferred to that!

Yes please!! The only option right now is discord on a mobile browser, which is awful. It's just the desktop browser version, so there's no way to retract the sidebar, which means there's no room to even see the messages unless I use landscape mode. Even then, there's barely any room. Unless you plan on reworking the entire mobile browser version (or even if you do!), a mobile linux app is sorely needed.
