iOS version needs option to stop scrolling to new messages

On iOS it still autoscrolls to new messages automatically. I cannot read older messages or scroll up to catch up on a thread, because it keeps yanking me back down. I've confirmed with support that this is the way it's meant to work and there's no option to disable it. The iOS version is completely unusable for me due to this.

It would be like being in the middle of reading a tweet and being pulled to a new tweet suddenly. Now imagine if that person tweeted every 5 seconds. That's what it's like when I'm on a busy Discord with messages every few seconds; I can't scroll up at all.

I love the desktop version, but this one issue makes the iOS version completely unusable for me, and it will continue to have 1 star from me until fixed. Fix it and the app is 5 stars for me.
