Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

I would like to suggest that discord add support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Currently Discord only will allow users to communicate when the user is not driving, or (I do not do this, but others probably do) users may be dangerously checking discord while driving. I feel that this feature would not only help me, but will also improve safety, and will also allow for a more wide spread adoption of the platform as the platform would be more usable.

Some of the functionality that I prepose is that the user can send and receive direct messages in text. For this function the car could read the user incoming messages and allow the user to reply with voice to text, this would be a similar to the system already used by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to handle hands free texting. Another amazing feature would be the ability to call using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the same way that hands free calling is handled. Maybe Discord will change the shape of the users status to reflect that the user is currently driving, similar to how it changes to a phone when the user is using the mobile client.

I have taken a, non in-depth look through the SDK(s) for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and from what I have seen, this project is definitely possible, and should not require too many resources to pull off. If for some reason this is not possible, please let me know why as I would be interested to learn.

P.S. The hands free functionality could potentially be implemented into the main desktop client and mobile client as an accessibility feature, depending on how it is implemented and how much of the code is provided by Apple/Google.

    Seems like CarPlay is definitely very low on the priority list but of all the CarPlay/Android Auto suggestions I've seen, this seems the most realistic. While others are saying they want a full on mini-client to select servers and join voice channels, focusing specifically on one-to-one communication (Direct Messages) seems more beneficial.

    I'm having to pick up a friend to take them/pick them up from work and they DM me through Discord. I don't see/hear the notification on CarPlay since there's no integration. I don't know they've messaged me until I park my car and look at my phone. This means I can miss out on important messages.

    Discord has become the primary form of communication for some peopleI know (over SMS/text messaging) so missing out on these while driving can be troublesome.
