The Nitro Boost Badges

I observed that a few of my friends Nitro badges leapt from their one month to 1 year, even 2 years. Is this some sort of courtesy Discord pushed out, if someone reboosts a server after a long time, they get their badge upgraded up to when they first started boosting? I’m planning on reboosting a server I first boosted since July of 2020 (or one i boosted since Feb 11). Would my one year badge come up? Just a general question, nothing serious I am making a big deal out of.
