[Feature Abnormality] `Edited` Tag shows in replies, should it?

My post is a simple question.

If you edit a post, and someone replies to the edited post, is it an edited post in the replies perspective? Or could we switch that from showing and then if the post is modified later it acts as a visual indicator that this isn't the same as what the reply was talking about.
