Broadcasted Message

So this is not like a broadcasted channel. Instead, you long click a message in the channel and click something like “broadcast” so that they message always shows at the top of the screen even if you’re a new member. I would provide a kind of “model” photo but I can’t submit photos but I think it would be helpful for reminding members of a community what a channel is meant for rather than them just swiping left because I doubt anyone actually does that.

    So, if I were to type a message in the chat that reads “This chat is for xxx” then when I send that message and long click it, there’s a button that says “broadcast” or “announce” or something similar. Pressing the button puts the message in a box at the top of the screen in a compact format without the person who sent it. When clicking on the message, it can also take you back to the original message.
