Roll back the android version!!!!
The new UI is completly outside of android's design language, the UI is broken half the time, and a significant regression in others.
For example:
1)sending a photo. I can only scroll through maybe the most recent 100 photos without having to open a file browser on my phone to find something... terrible.
2) landscape mode is basically completely broken
3) Active users in voice channels have their names chopped in half at the top and bottom, sometimes not showing all the user's in a channel at all.
4) duplicates in the notification settings.
PLEASE! Would you kindly not just lazily convert the iOS version over to android. I genuinely enjoyed that the Android version was actually made and optimized FOR ANDROID.
The new UI sucks. My Note 20 ultra should not be struggling to use a MESSAGING APP...
this is insanely negligent on y'alls part and I'm recommending everyone I know that uses the android app cancel nitro until this is resolved.
Updates should not be a step backwards.

Completely agreed, I'm lucky that I rarely have to use my Android device because I'm mostly able to access Discord from my computer at home.

Please roll it back. The differing font sizes, holding down to edit messages resulting in a glitchy summoning of the options menu, no thank you.

This bad version is not functional. I know the world is like iPhone/iOS centered, but at least *Discord* used to care about those of us who used a more affordable smart phone.

I have no idea how that unoptimized React Native garbage made it past quality checks, it's horrible!The performance of the app went from good to unusable, it's not acceptable.
Everything lags to the point that inputs are skipped; this app is now TRASH.I used this tutorial on how to revert back to the old native android style app, and I'm sticking to it!
