The new update is awful!

The app keeps crashing, it's had connection issues much more frequently than normal, and a bunch of the icons are completely invisible (as seen here https://imgur.com/a/1QNj2Wp). Servers are being hit by connection issues especially hard it seems. Also, the text in messages is smaller for no apparent reason, which makes it harder to read for those of us with vision problems. Usernames are bolded now, also for no apparent reason, which isn't a huge deal but it does look worse. I don't know what's going on, but this is the least functional discord has been in a long time. One thing that's great about the update though is that it now tells you when photos are in the process of being sent, instead of having to just guess whether or not it's working because pressing send doesn't look like it actually does anything most of the time.

  I hate when it just won't load all the messages I've missed. It shows a "Load Messages" button and still filters out a huge chunk of them!

  Ugh, how frustrating! I haven't had that exact issue personally, but I have consistently had issues not getting notifications over the years, with periods of it being better or worse. Lately I've had some ghost notifications, where I see the red notification circle but all of my messages are marked as read. Then it just goes away on its own eventually.

  I have no idea how that unoptimized React Native garbage made it past quality checks, it's horrible!

  The performance of the app went from good to unusable, it's not acceptable.
  Everything lags to the point that inputs are skipped; this app is now TRASH.

  I used this tutorial on how to revert back to the old native android style app, and I'm sticking to it!
