video playback keeps playing on mobile

playing an embedded video and then leaving it doesn't stop video playback anymore, video playback only stops if you pause the video while it is open or if you change channel.

what makes it worse is that pressing the home button while the video is playing will not stop the audio, and re-opening discord will show the video as paused(essentially loading a new paused instance of the video)

if this occurs the audio cannot be stopped, opening the video to pause it just starts a 2nd instance of the video playing on top of the sound of the 1st instance.

the only way i've been able to stop the sound was to kill the discord app.

videos should always stop playing when the video or the app is closed, and if the video is playing in-chat it should have a pause/stop button.
