Account Recovery Assistance

Discord should create a team specially that helps hacked/lost accounts be able to be recoverable. Discord should have access to 2FA and be able to remove access of 2FA upon request of user through validation codes sent through their email/SMS ect (prevent hackers). 

I've personally been battling with discord bots/staff back and forth for months now to recover my original account that had work files and lost my job due to discord not being able to disable my 2FA because all my 2FA codes did not work nor my SMS. So I've dealt with the horrible customer service team for months just to come to an agreement and perm delete my account to loose my job.

    Discord is able to remote-disable 2FA on your account - you just need to contact the support. 

    Also, if you get hacked, it's your fault, not Discords.

    ToS - You are responsible for the security of your account, and you agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. If you use a password, it must be strong, and we (strongly) recommend that you use that password only for your Discord account and that you enable two-factor authentication. If your account is compromised, we may not be able to restore it to you.

    Mam podobny problem od pol roku, mam wszystkie dane do logowania, ktore przestały ostatnio dzialac. I co z tego ze zresetujesz haslo jak i tak potrzebny jest kod 2 etapowy ktory nie dziala...

    @brian  you cannot simply contact support to disable. That is the point of this thread.

    The account was not hacked and I had 2FA code activation including SMS but NONE of the codes worked. I discussed with 10+ staff members to try to disable 2FA for MONTHS and they have said discord doesn't have access to disable 2FA.

    I've read ToS and have legal counsel review discords TOS and we all came to an agreement to delete account as that was "the only option" available.  

    My suggestion is to have an actual staff team focus on helping those who have issues with discord connection with 2FA authentication systems.

    Also to mention I have created tickets for assistance just to have random staff members CLOSE the ticket without any assistance to solve the issue.
