Add notification permissions to role permissions

It would be most helpful for our setup if it was possible to modify who would get notifications of channels by default. Our setup is made in a way, that you need a general role to be assigned to you to see most channels/categories. Now we'd like to have it that people with that role can read the message history of those chats by default, yet can't write in them and don't get notifications by default. To get write permission, they can (with most channels) assign themselves the role for that specific channel to themselves. But currently if people can read a channel they will also get notifications for all messages. They have to currently opt out for any channel they don't want to get notifications from, we'd like to change that to an opt-in solution. So we'd like to tie the default notification behavior to the role created for that channel, so people that want to participate get notifications by default, everybody else can choose to. With current capabilities that is not possible.
