Discord doesn't load, doesn't let me login after logging out, and can't access the servers. (iOS 12)

I was minding my own business like 10 minutes ago and decided to login to discord via my iPad (iOS 12).

For whatever reason, nothing was loading, and I decided to log out and back into my discord account via the iPad. I log out, try to log in, and it tells me there's been an error. So I check discord's status website, and it tells me that Safari can't open the page because the server can't be found.

I uninstall the app, and try to reinstall it, and now whenever I click on the re-download button, it shows a loading button for a bit (between 1 second to 1 minute) and then the re-download button reappears.

I'm completely stumped here because Safari can't find discordstatus's servers yet I can access the website just fine on my computer. 

Please help

  discord.com doesn't work either.

  apparently after restarting my entire router, it fixed itself. okay lol
