Please help me with this issue with Discord Nitro

I tried to gift myself Nitro because my card doesn't go with Discord but the Nitro just went into my subscription credit. How do I avail it ? I know we can avail Discord Basic without subscribing so can anyone please help me?

    Discord wants you to continue buying nitro. Thats why you need a valid payment method linked.
    I find this stupid myself to but welp nothing we can do
