Nicknames Now Public

All nicknames are now public. The one great thing about them was that no one was in your business and looking at different names you chose to be under. It's pretty horrible that they can now be seen by anyone looking at your page. I've got few harassers that pop up from time to time, and wouldn't want my information to be seen. Now it seems I have to make my profile private to keep any who aren't added from seeing my material. Which is kind of sad by itself, because some who aren't added could still see status'.

  I see. That's great information to know. 
  I can understand random server users seeing my nickname and then seeing a completely different name if they checked out my profile. My biggest complaint was that random friends could see Aliases on my profile. Knowing that it's only if you share the same server is easier to live with. – Thank you.

  They've always been public, just saying. It's just that you had to navigate a few menus to see them. But now they can be seen in your profile. Also, it only shows an alias if you and the person checking you share a server.
