Request: A Guide on what to do if your account gets disabled
I looked through a lot of the pages now, waiting for a response so I can help my friend and saw just how many people don't know what to do. So I would like to request a small guide for that.
It does not have to be massive, but encompass the necessary steps. Who to contact, What to do, What to say. How to react when you get that dreaded email. How to react if you don't even get an email!
It sounds weird but I actually couldn't find any centered guide to instruct users on how to react. Judging by the intense amount of posts as well, it is very much needed!
I know, somewhat of a random request among the sea of issues but since my friend now has his account disabled for "violating ToS or Guidelines" and being denied by the bot, he's desperate to get some type of contact and have this resolved. I think that it should be a guide available to everyone.

I don't work for Discord, but I'd recommend not spamming requests in the feed. It's an idea though, and it's good you're working to justify your friend's account being disabled. I think people do need this kind of thing. I'm sure there's plenty of info somewhere, but with all the people complaining, you'd have to dig through the internet to find it.

I did a lot of digging and it is just... so confusing. Some people say that if your account gets disabled then there is no chance of ever getting it back, others say you just have to keep pushing (which is actually against the Guidelines) and some others take it all with a grain of salt.
Just now I went through some more posts regarding Accounts being disabled and someone said "use a different email to contact them and then mention your main account's email address so instead of an automatic respond they actually get to see your account ". Just, there is no easy to grab, center piece. That's what I am really asking for with that. A center place where people can find every possible link they need, read up on all the know-how easily. And yes, after reading the "use a different email" thing, I am thinking about contacting them through my email so he can get the support he needs. I don't know if that will get me into trouble though.

Hi ! I don't work for discord. You can try dis.gd/request and choose the "appeal" category to reach the trust and safety team. However it doesn't mean your request will be fulfilled, because discord is platform with hundred millions users. As such they have to take action against abuses etc. and may sometimes make errors.
I think that if the account has been disabled for "Violating ToS or Guidelines" there is only a very little chance to enable it back.
Note: using the link when logged in uses the email address of your account to send the request.
Hope you'll succeed ^^0 -
I hope the Support will react to him soon. Considering that the first appeal was replied to with a bot message that everyone seems to get, there should be a chance still. I can't remember him doing anything to violate ToS or Guidelines lately.
But this would be just, awesome to know. Actually a great example. What do you do if your first appeal was responded to by the bot?
