Notice to all! Scam Alert

To Whom it may concern, the person, or persons, using the domain https://syncwallet.net/apps/ is using the domain to steal cryptocurrency from unsuspecting people. Let me tell you my story.

 

I recently purchased a new cryptocurrency SiaCoin (SC), roughly 19,000 coins valued at the time of theft around $780 USD. I was using a chat app called Discord to discuss an issue I was having with the coin wallet with a Sia Tech. The thief acting as another technician worked with me thru a new window on this issue for a few days when I had time to respond to him during my busy work schedule. He convinced me to go to this sight to supposedly sync my wallet with a MetaMask Wallet named Fleek to help a glitch I was having with the Sia Wallet. He convinced me to enter my Seed(password) to sync the wallet. Once I did this it showed an error that said transfer was invalid. Little did I know that when this happened the web page saved my seed and he used it to steal all of my coins. I have no idea who it was. As soon I closed the Discord app and quit for the night the message session I had with this guy disappeared. I never heard from him again and have no way of contacting him because he was not shown as a friend in my list. This was my stupidity. Which made me wonder why he didn't respond since he had been helping me for a few days with the issue. The next day when I check my Sia Wallet the coin balance was $0. This was an expensive lesson and I'm not going after this guy because I have no idea who he was.

 

So that's my story. I was careless and lost a big chunk of cash, but now I'm wiser and will be very, very, very careful from here on out. I'm just informing you that there is illegal activity on this domain. Not sure if you can do anything to this dirt bag or not but thought that you should know. Since he is using your app to steal from people that is. Do with it what you will.
