Maybe no cussing except for NSFW channels?

Here’s the thing though. Just leaving the server doesn’t solve anything. Even though I left and I don’t get those messages anymore, that doesn’t make it okay to swear. It’s a larger issue than just me seeing inappropriate messages.

    Jeremy,

Discord is meant for teens and above. Teens usually learn how to curse/swear at this age.

I actually would like to state that while some people do cuss, it is not extravagant to the extent of cursing every minute.

Some families allow their children to swear, but either only using mild profanities or infrequently.

Therefore, servers have the right to choose whether they want to allow or disallow swearing.

I would only support this suggestion if Discord was a kids' site.

(PS, it's okay to be friends with someone who curses. Just don't talk about the negative impacts. I know a few people who curse infrequently, and I'm fine with that).

I also do understand that there may be interference with some religions including mine, so semi-support, if mild profanities are allowed

Hello There. Good news. Discord have been updated automod. Don't join no rules server and, if create server, go to settings and, select automod. You can active rules or create discord automod rules.
