"Save Image" button not working correctly

When I right click on a picture the little window pops up with the possibility to download image. It says "Save Image". If I click on it, it tries to save it in a non jpg/png type. It saves it automatically in the standard "file" form.

Also, It automatically thinks I want to download it onto my "documents" folder (standard folder).

Is there any way I can redirect where it downloads and if it´s possible to make the client automatically determine what file type it is?

    Great idea, 日産! I tried to contact support directly but realized feedback goes here.

    Saving an image with its original extension after renaming is difficult. For example, I right-clicked on an image and then clicked "save image." Then a file save-as dialog popped up and shows the file type as star-dot-star.

    It would be great if the file type would default to the extension of the image to save if any. For example, saving an image called data-sheet.png should default to the file type star-dot-png. This way if the filename is cleared and typed manually, the extension will be automatically added to the filename.

    This would ensure the extension is appended when saving an image. Also, if a user pasted in a filename without an extension from their clipboard, the resulting file type would remain uncleared or unchanged.
