Account disabled + recovery process
Hi,
Couldn't find an official complaint form so sending it to the feedback area.
Recently I got my main discord account disabled without warning or notice, it was only after I sent in a support request I was told it was disabled due to "it seems like your server had a channel dedicated to sharing copyrighted content or 'OnlyFans' leaks."
After pestering support for over 3 days without response I was finally informed that one of the servers I maintain ownership of has a general "#nsfw" text channel which I assume a fellow member posted some copyrighted content to.
I'm not arguing the validity of the copyright claim but how the entire process was undertaken. Why was my entire account disabled? Why wasn't I informed after it being disabled about the issue?
I understand they have they business reasons to undertake swift action against accounts and servers that share copyrighted content however it was apparent during the process they have the ability to disable specific servers so why not just disable the server, leaving my account functional and a discussion with support can go from there?
Apologies that this turned into a bit of a rant, a bit frustrated after waiting a total of almost 4 days to get my main account back for a TOS violation that I didn't directly commit, encourage or entertain.
Kind regards,
Oscar

Did you ever get your account back? I might be facing the same OF issue somehow, but I know I never posted nor partook in the said action.
