I, as many others have vocalized, have extreme issues continuing to use Discord. I'm disabled, and Discord's old very mellow scheme hit it well for me! The old colors weren't too bright, nor too depressing.
However, as per the 6th anniversary change... things have been extremely difficult for me, and other disabled and even abled people I know. The contrast is atrocious, which leaves my head pounding and often triggers migraine auras. The so called "bold and friendly" font and color choices are difficult to read, decipher, and hard to focus on. Discord is truly an essential app/website for me, and it's very upsetting to see such a turn that directly bars off disabled people like me from using it.
At the very least, a legacy theme would be extremely appreciated... though I have no clue who would WANT the new theme. A horribly exclusionary choice, honestly. You still have the chance to listen to your disabled audience.
