Unique usernames is an outdated practice

Discriminators are a FAR superior system than unique usernames, so much so that other platforms are slowly starting to introduce discriminators to allow multiple people to occupy the same username.

 

Why are we going back to an outdated unique username system?

    +1 The fact that the backlash has seemingly gone completely disregarded on top of having extremely flimsy arguments in its favor to begin with is just laughable.
