Support is SLOW and Discord tries to ghost charge you for Nitro when they know your information
Discord likes to charge you randomly for nitro if you have your information saved even if you know for a fact that you cancelled their monthly payments. The exact moment they charged me I filed a ticket asking for a refund in which I waited two weeks to get zero response from them. So I filed a ticket with PayPal and PayPal refunded me because they took too long to reply and now I'm banned from their free to register platform. Great way of doing business discord makes me really want to buy your nitro ever again when I make a new free account!
Edit: They probably do this on purpose to wait the full 30 days so that the nitro expires and gets used up so they can use the excuse that I fully enjoyed my service that I paid for and am not eligible for a refund, be warned when buying Nitro people.

This is absolutely correct, and when you dispute their service charges and they ban you for “violating their terms of service” they try to hold your account as the leverage to get you to reverse the dispute in order to retrieve your account. This is FRAUD. Discord Nitro is NOT worth the hassle. Don't do it, it's near impossible to cancel and they do not have live support or support you can contact to address the issues with the subscription. I was charged for multiple subscriptions for MONTHS, one through apple and one through discord. I kept cancelling and they kept charging. I disputed one charge, through Chase, to get them to stop charging me and they have disabled my account. They continue to send me automated responses and are not answering my requests to address the issues. Sending me the same automated response insisting I withdraw my dispute from Chase. They may as well be blackmailing people.
