Different types of notification

Considering now people tend to avoid notifications so much they've become overwhelming:

- Have different types of notification (color/style) to differentiate:

  • More important server announcements
  • Different types of DMs (DMs from a friend, friend of a friend, bots, other sources)

- Some kind of possible cooldown for the servers (e.g. not being able to use a certain notification more than once a month or twice a year)

- Being able to mute individually a certain type of ping to filter out unwanted notifications (cooldowns could only be changed once in a while according to the server with a notification to members when cooldowns have been changed and explicitly displayed in an easy to access area like the server's name bar to quickly see whether or not they're worth muting)

Even if there is already such thing as roles to being notified for a certain type of announcement, not all servers use them; it'd also be more user-friendly for server admins and members as a default feature; on top of that compared to the role counterpart even though covering less types of notification it could be useful to know what you're being notified for without needing to look into the server.

    Overwhelming notification overload can be mitigated by implementing distinct notification styles and colors to distinguish between essential server alerts and various direct message types. Notification weariness can also be avoided by implementing a cooldown option for specific notifications, as those from Century Regalia.
