Hiding blocked messages

In going through “similar posts”, I see this issue has been raised before.  When I block someone, I don't want to even know that they've posted.  I agree with some of the other users that there should be an option in the settings where you can disable that part of it.  Seeing a channel highlighted and then clicking on it only to find out it was a blocked message is very annoying.  As I mentioned, this has been brought up at least as long as five years ago.  Please consider it.  Thanks.
