My friend's Account was hacked

Hello, 

   3 days ago my friend's account was overtaken by some one he thought he knew. They offered to play Minecraft with him and when they sent him a link to join the MC server he was immediately signed out. And they took over his personal email and his Discord. I submitted a ticket to help him when it happened and even sent updates to let discord support know what was happening. It went from his name being changed, to his PFP, to his User name, and lastly they put a 2FA on his account. We submitted multiple tickets but had ended up with “solved” with every one of them with nothing done. I am having my friend submit another ticket and provide all of his details to include invoices, proof that they changed his email, and then finally the ID of the old account that the hacker had abducted. This friend of mine was and still is in distraught.. As painful as it is I just hope the rest of you are careful with what links you click and who you talk to. There is no telling what can come from a person unless you stay diligent and keep focused on what's going on. I am hoping that the support group actually does something because even as a bystander.. It hurts to see my friend have to go through this trouble and for support to not do anything about it. It's like bots are running the support system and there's no such thing as human help anymore. 

P.S: Don't trust people and never click on invites or links. Pray for my friend and that he gets his account back..
