Android app doesn't handle Fold phones well

I recently got the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and the Discord app works fine on the outside screen (folded up) but these things break on the wider inside screen (unfolded mode):

  • Displaying images when clicking on them in a channel. The image is not shown fully, but zooming out doesn't work, and zooming in only uses the part of the screen where the image was shown at the initial zoom level. 
  • Voice/video chat controls (camera, mute, etc.) are not shown at all. 

Again, with the phone folded up, these things work as expected.

    Also, in unfolded mode the app draws some of the UI underneath the Android status bar, making some UI elements unusable (like the back button, luckily gestures make that unimportant)

    The list goes on unfortunately, got a Pixel 9 Pro Fold recently as well, and as of today gifs and animated emotes stopped working entirely. 

    Idk if there was an update or something, but it certainly made the experience worse. 

    I'm subbed to Discord Nitro, the main reason being animated emotes…can't use those anymore now, guess I'll cancel my Nitro until someone actually starts caring to fix this mess.

    EDIT 1 : opted out of Discord's Beta Programm, it finally downloaded the latest stable version and it fixed my problem…but I still don't know how you can f#*k up a Beta branch THAT badly…
