Please Bring Back Individual Voice Channel Statuses

This feature was a dream for me and my girlfriend. We live across the country and sleep on a call every single night. We always mute ourselves to not accidentally wake the other up when we're sleeping, so the only way to know if the other was up was to either ask (usually waking them up in the process) or to change our individual status from “sleepin” to “awake and bald.” Just seeing the emoji change was enough to know that I could talk if she was already awake.

Nowadays, being that the feature is gone, I either wake her up whenever I unmute to ask if she's awake, or we both don't say anything to each other out of fear of waking each other up…

I understand that this feature had some backlash in terms of people thinking it breached security and showed anyone in that server that you were in a VC, as well as the pain of EVERYONE having one that just defaulted to “just chillen” or something. If we could add it back without forcing people to use it and it affecting the voice channel, server, or public statuses (I know it's a lot of statuses), that'd be great.

There are different groups of people that I want different statuses for, and the one that matters most, the one that communicates to my girlfriend that I can talk, is gone. Please bring it back in the correct way.
