Customisation on showing context for link/media

Option for Links, Photos, Videos, Gifs to display only link and no context, always display context, or display context on link hover. They should be separated, so i can only allow photo and link to show but not gifs.

  Displaying the link only can be done b7y surrounding the link with less-tan and greater-than symbols.  For example, www.google.com should display details about the website,  but <www.google.com> will not.

  I would like to see the full link Markdown syntax formatted, which will help with the above.  This syntax is:

  [The Link](www.longLinkName.com "What is displayed when hovering over it")
