Discord mobile connecting error

Its stuck saying "connecting..." , and wont load any newly sent messages by other people. But MY messages send with ease. I also still get out of app notifications for dms, but thats it. I had this same problem earlier today, but then it fixed itself without me doing anything while I was writing the forum, so I just stopped.

So far Ive tried:
-Restarting the app
-Clearing the cache
-Reconnecting to my wifi
-And Ive heard that reinstalling the app will only remove all of your servers. (which I refuse to do.)
Im on android by the way.
Samsung Galaxy On5 to be exact.
