Bluetooth Disconnect Issues

I've been using discord mobile on android on note 8 over 6 months now with bluetooth headsets exclusively with only occasional issues which would be corrected by an app reinstall. This new issue occurs on my note 8 and my gf pixel 3. While in a VC i will suddenly after 5-15 minutes hear a disconnect beep and the call drops & reconnects in 5-10 seconds and then audio returns to the headset. This has only started happening since around christmas time. At first I thought it was an issue w/ google assistant software on new headphones but the issue persisted on a Turtle Beach 700X also connected by BT. Discord has DND exclusion so it isnt being shut off and the power saving for the app has been disabled as well in case it kept disconecting as a power saving bug but as its happening on a phone with a different manufacturer it seems to.be an app issue. Reinstall has not resolved it. Main headset is a LG hbs-1125. Pretty sure logs have already been emailed but ill check back and upload them here when I get the chance. What I remember is the call would drop but didnt look like a BT connectivity issue as much as a voice chat/voip connectivity issue. Im in IT and am familiar with reading debug/error logs and troubleshooting & resolving tech issues. Im only reposting here for help as this wasnt an issue untl about 7-10 days ago.
