There are a lot of times where I want to ping people who aren't currently online without annoying people who are. It would be really helpful if there was a @nothere or @offline to specifically ping those people.

  To clarify:

  A, @everyone does the job if you want to ping offline people. However, offline people are offline for a reason, that’s why @here is there, so they won’t be annoyed by some random user pinging them.

  B, I was joking with the sentence, no need to get salty there bud.

  C, Your comment was pretty rude, as you implicitly stated that we don’t know how to read.
