    I had this problem but I found a solution for me, I closed out of discord completely using task manager and league. From there I opened discord first as ADMINISTRATOR then open league as ADMINISTRATOR in that order. Then try connecting accounts. This worked for me after having the bug for many months!

    If this is not going to be added it would be a bit weird, because even Skype is on that list.

    I think maybe you could only add it if you had developer mode enabled that would probably be the best way. And also, not just github, but any git hosting site, like gitlab.

    Would be great! > Could go one step further and implement custom connections > Almost as if you are building a Biography, provide a Name & Link. Done.

    What a great idea! It's been awhile since Discord has integrated some account connection, would be nice if there are more like Stack overflow or Stack exchange.

    While I do feel like this would be good to advertise servers, I don't like the fact that's it on your profile 24/7 if you connect it.

    It would be wonderful to be able to tie in some of my PS4 MMORPGs to a text based Role Play for extended story content. PS4 Devs please listen. Discord has tons of tools and advertisement for your gaming experience. It would provide your FPS players a place to get together and make plans on battle tactics. RP'ers like myself an outlet for story line. Chatters an outside server from your own. It would be a huge win for the PS4 Community.

    For those that are asking, the idea behind this connection is for server integration: Make a channel (Maybe with another icon than the #) and every commits will be posted here... It will be easier than making a webhook with github...

    I don't think making github commit logging a discord-specific feature is a good idea. Webhooks serve their purpose just fine. If anything adding the github commit logging feature would add API bloat.

    I DO support adding a github profile connection still, however.

    This shouldnt be something we have to request, you already allow connection to xbox.

    Exit bot LoL and Discord using task manager, and then open both as Administrator, and then try. It worked for me.

    I concur. GOG Galaxy is a whole platform for their online community. Would be nice to give people on Discord the heads up that I'm playing on GOG as I have quite a few games from them.

    I'm not sure who downvoted the request for PS3 as well but I'd imagine that a PSN account, is a PSN account, is a PSN account. At any rate, I'd love for Sony and Discord to get together on this one and make it a reality. With so many people already using Discord for Steam and now also Xbox Live accounts, this would only be a natural step forward for both parties.

    8 months later and nothing..., I really want a PSN, and Instagram connection idk how a Nintendo one would work but it'd be nice to have it along with PSN knowing how XBL and Steam are available as connections. I have no idea what’s taking them so long with Instagram knowing how almost everything major social media is available for connection (Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, and even Skype) it’s confusing as well since they have a FB connection and Facebook owns Instagram. Hopefully one day these three things I listed will be implemented. :/

    It would be nice to be able to add multiple githubs to your profile in case you've got more than one account
