Actually using the public beta for its purpose
So I'm one of the few that has the public beta version of discord, I did so thinking that I could try some neat new features that were still in the works although I'm yet to be able to try any features that aren't just being randomly given to users. It just makes me wonder why the public beta exists if there's going to be nothing noticeable about it apart from one or two low level changes. I'm sure that discord would get a lot more feedback and data on features if instead of randomly giving it to users, giving it to those who downloaded the beta because they are the ones who clearly want them.

Heyo, just wanted to make sure that you knew that 1) there's a canary build of discord which does get new features from time to time (google 'discord canary' to find the download), and 2) there's an official discord server where people report bugs with the build(/discord-testers)
