There are issues with discord Trust and Safety where they required message ids in order to report messages. Images rarely cut the chase and when someone is spamming porn in your server, you're not exactly in a rush to leave it up, quarantine the channel and wait for discord to nuke the account.
So I have a request, allow bots, and only bots, to poke a specific endpoint on discord to 'copy' a message to a specific channel.
The message cannot be modified by the bot in question. I do not care if the bot is the one who 'sends' the message, though it would probably be easier to spoof the user's account, or even make a dedicated bot (like clyde) that posts it. It can also only be posted in a channel connected to same server and not to dms, which can lead to abuse.
If you want to spoof the user account, then the message would be posted to the channel in the request, if the bot has perms, ignoring the original author's perms, and essentially serve as a permanent record for reporting to discord ToS that can't be modified, spoofed, or messed with in anyway shape or form.
I'm not entirely sure how complicated this is, however from a bird's eye view I don't see anything especially problematic with the idea.
