Supporting Emojis in Channel Names (New Feature Idea)

Discord does not fully support emojis in channel names officially, and tagging channels that start in emojis can sometimes be extremely wonky. It's frustrating when you want to tag a channel that has an emoji in it and you can't just because of that small detail. Emojis add some flavor to the channel names and even can help new members of your server find their way around. If your server has enough levels maybe even adding in some server-exclusive emotes to your channel names could be great for Nitro users. Just an idea I had that I thought could help Discord servers grow and be more eye-catching.

  This feature exists for channel topics, should be added to channel names too.

  i've always been one to find emojis in channel names annoying to look at and hard to make sense of but i agree. if people want to. let them
