Very limited file browsing on Linux Mint 20 version

I can't open and send file from a directory other than Downloaded, Pictures or Videos. I must copy the file to one of these directories and after that I can send the file. It is very annoying.

In the image you can see the file opener window (in Czech language):

  I’m pretty sure drag and drop exists in mint 20 maybe give it a try?
